Miramichi - Shediac

Ave 24.3km/hr. Ride Time 7hr02min. Distance 170.83km.
I took Hwy 11 because the scenic hwy was significantly longer. Then I took Hwy 134 from Kouchibouguac and it wasn't really worth it. From here to Shediac I took the scenic route along the coast.

Some sections were really nice. I do recommend doing it if time and wind allow.
Exception: Cocagne to Shediac. (take the 134 instead).
The ride was not hilly at all.
When I rode through town I was advised that all the campgrounds were booked up. I stopped in at the first one and convinced them to let me stay on an unoccupied square of grass.
I got my first real flat tire today. The change went really well. No pinch flats.
Just south of Ste Kent there was a dune preservation building, exhibit, beach, boardwalk sponsored by Irving.
It was super nice.
I went for a swim.
I also met another biker there who was doing a short trip. She was from Quebec. Imagine that!
I had nice salt stains on my biking shorts from the swim. Very attractive.
I called Mary from the campground and I advised that I would be arriving there shortly. She told me that the fine for riding across the bridge is $155. Is it worth it? Nope:)
There was some live music in the park in Shediac. I had a very nice dinner in the touristy part of town.

Hi Ryan,
We camped at Kouchibouguac many years ago and really enjoyed it. I can't believe how far you have gone. Good going!
